Green Project offers the DB deburring unit, designed to thoroughly remove the burrs of the cast products coming out of the flame cutting.
This machine contributes to reduce the damage of the rolls of the evacuation conveyors, resulting in a significant saving in the maintenance costs.
The DB deburrer as proposed is a rotary design, consisting of a star shaped rotor with hinged blades located over the whole product width, which rotates at high speed under the slab or billet; due to the centrifugal force the blades extend radially; every time a blade hits a portion of burr, it contributes to remove it.
The machine is equipped with a full cover with inlet / outlet openings protected by triple chain curtains, in order to avoid the possible ejection of the loosen burrs out of the machine. Loosen burrs are collected in a funnel under the machine and conveyed in a removal car.
Other accessories are the barriers for detecting the slab/billet positions and, optionally, the water cooling system for the rotor and the vision system to control the burrs removal.
